*Effective for the 2026/27 Fall Season:
After careful consideration of the current environment within youth ice hockey, including concerns arising from interactions among officials, coaches, players and parents, the MDRA Board has adopted a revised age eligibility policy for new officials. Effective for the fall 2026/27 season, the association will not accept applications from individuals under the age of 14.
Current officials who are active members in good standing prior to the implementation of this policy will be grandfathered and permitted to continue officiating.
